Join me in this fun and piping packed workshop as we create this beautiful buttercream floral basket together!

Piping template will be supplied so you can easily develop the muscle memory and skills to pipe like a champion ;)

By the end of this Zoom workshop, you will know how to:

• level, tort, fill, crumb-coat and final coat your cakes
• how to pipe rosettes using the 104 and #32 piping tip
• how to create a shell border and pearl border using the #10 and #32 piping tip
• how to create a gorgeous basket weave design
• how to create your own leaf tip and pipe buttercream leaves

What you will need for this workshop:

• A microwave
• an 8 inch cake board
• a 6" round cake- we will be working with a single cake, cut in half and filled
• buttercream- approximately 6 to 7 cups worth. Here is my go to recipe for buttercream:
  I would suggest these ingredient amounts for this workshops:
  500 grams fat (250 grams vegetable shortening, 250 grams unsalted butter. OR you can just use one medium or the other at 500grams if you don't want to add both)
  1kg icing sugar
  1 teaspoon vanilla
  4 to 5 tablespoons milk

• serrated knife for cutting the cake
• offset spatula
• frosting scraper
• turntable
• 5 disposable piping bags
• gel food colour of your choice- I will be using pink, blue, brown and green.
• bowls and spoons for mixing buttercream (one per colour of frosting)
• piping tips: 1M, #32, #10, #47 piping tip
• scissors

This class is expected to run for approximately 3 hours

Max 15 students per class to ensure everyone gets an opportunity to receive guidance along the way.
